21 Megapixels. 21 Moments. 1 Shot. 92% of smartphone users use their phone as their primary camera. We had to demonstrate that the 21 MP Moto X was the best camera phone in the market. To prove it, we challenged a tableaux vivant photographer to capture 21 choreographed moments in one shot. Then we created a deeper experience with interconnected films across the Instagram grid.

Ying has traveled the world to promote education and equal rights. In March 2014, Ying traveled to Malawi, Africa to work on a collaboration documentary with Lawrence O’Donnell, UNICEF, and World Food Program to produce a documentary called “Kids in Need of Desks”.
Every day, millions of children across Africa struggle to learn while sitting on the floor or on the ground. Giving them a desk, where they can write and learn, is the first step toward keeping eager young students in school. In Malawi, 70 percent of students do not have a desk or chair. The Kids in Need of Desks (K.I.N.D.) campaign, launched by the UNICEF USA and MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell, aims to change that by delivering desks to hundreds of schools. K.I.N.D. also provides secondary school scholarships to Malawian girls most in danger of missing out on an education.
The Kids in Need of Desks fund is still going strong. You can support this cause with a tax deductible donation on UNICEF’s website. No donation is too small, $27 builds a desk for 1 student, and $110 is enough to build desks for 4 students.
